Bio
Fabrizio Cucco born in Anzio (Rome) on 27 September 1987. He studied bass at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he graduated with honors in 2015. During his years of study he began to play actively in clubs in Rome and later also outside Lazio, playing jazz, Brazilian music, pop and in jazz orchestras. He has played in many important Italian and international festivals, including: Modica Jazz Fest (2013), Muntagninjazz 2012 and 2017, Italian Jazz on the Road 2015 (three concerts in Helsinki, Maastricht, Aalborg), Festival Special Guest (Rome, 2016 , 2017, 2018), Alatri Jazz Festival 2018 and 2024, Hev-het fest 2019 (Kosice, Slovakia), Warsaw Singer’s Jazz Festival 2020 (Warsaw, Poland), Cairo Jazz Festival 2020 (Egypt), Jammin’ 2020 at Casa Del Jazz (Rome), Priverno jazz fest 2020 and 2023, Village Celimontana festival 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 (Rome), 52nd jazz Winter 2020 and 2023 (Latina), Ombre Jazz fest 2023 and 2024 (Viterbo), Ravello Music 2023 (Ravello), Jazz & Image festival 2023 and 2024 (Rome). As an educator he teaches at Saint Louis College of Music (university in Rome) from 2015. He also had the opportunity to represent the Saint Louis school as a teacher abroad (Helsinki, Barcelona, Pristina, Iasi). In April 2020, his first solo album, “For a Brief Moment”, was released, recorded with Maurizio Giammarco, Roberto Gatto e Pierpaolo Principato. New album Tempo Fermo, co-written with Cristina Zavalloni, is out.

The idea of the project was born with the educational collaboration between Fabrizio Cucco and Cristina Zavalloni. They started to write music together and then brought the music in the studio. The music is arranged by Fabrizio Cucco.
